public service announcement (about lunch)

Lunch on the 2nd day of August, 2010

According to Wikipedia, a public service announcement is a type of advertisement intended to benefit public interest, by raising awareness of an issue, affecting public attitudes, and potentially stimulating action.

Eat toasts with mustard mayonnaise and mashed avocado.

This ad was inspired by The Wednesday Chef and food52.

*I added coarse ground black pepper.

    It does look good... All you have to say is avocado and I am sold--I am cheap like that.

    I am having an issue with toasts in the plural though... is that weird? Isn't toast a mass noun? Should I even be thinking about this?

    Annje, I believe you are correct, but isn't it fun to break the rules sometimes? I plucked it from the text above Amanda's recipe on food52 "I ordered toasts with mustard mayonnaise and mashed avocado, drank a ginger beer, and couldn't have been happier." What can I say...I like it. I think it's cute.

    lively green psa ! we approve the addition of coarse ground black pepper, of course.
    it was an avocado monday at our house, too.
    mashed with a little lime and green onion
    stirred in the dregs of the terra chip bag for crunch.
    not bad at all.
