Trilby

..., 2010
Today I thought of Trilby and how she used to sneak away on Sundays. Whenever I think of her I smile. She'll make you smile too.

Thank you, Jennifer.

  2. With five children, I'd sneak away on Sundays too. Even with one, I do. So sweet.

  3. I love discovering new things through you. Sneaking away is important for me at any age; my own grandmother lived to be 101 so it's important to keep the fire alive and stay spirited. Thanks for making me smile.

  7. between7and9, Thank you.

mosey, I don't have any and I still enjoy sneaking away on Sunday. With 5 or 9 (my father's mother) I'm not sure what I'd do.

Vanessa, So, it seems the long life runs in your family. Wonderful! I'm looking forward to all of the stories you'll have yet to tell.

Jessica, I like her name too. She is an inspiration--she was 101 in 2006, so her sneaking away for the day when her children were young was a very long time ago. It must have been much more of an indulgence than such a thing would be today. I wonder how she did it...

t does wool, I did enjoy discovering Trilby. It's been a weekend of discovery. Yesterday, I sat on a heated toilet seat in a Japanese movie theater.

and flowers pick themselves, Thank you. Yes, it has been lovely so far.

Michele, Yes, agreed. I'm sure her taking time for herself helped improve her relationships with those she loved.

  11. I love learning about Trilby and I think that Jennifer's projects are inspired. Sometimes the fleeting connections with strangers are as significant and profound as those with our families and friends.
