Ooh La La

 Light, 2014

When I was younger I wasn't really aware of good light, no more than aligning my beach towel with the sun for the best tan.

It has me thinking of this song. I thought it was new, not from 1973.

I wish that I knew what I know now
When I was younger

  1. So many things I love about that photo - the uneven wall, the water-like light. That's a good corner.
Yes, why is it that you fall in love with light when you're older, I wonder.

  2. That light reminds me so much (in a good way) of an art exhibit I recently saw at the Institute of Contemporary Art here in Boston. It's quite moving, actually.

  3. Beautiful picture. I still don't understand light. (But I love it and need it.)

    1. Yes, I need it too. I love fog, but not all the time. I miss sunshine when it is away for too long.

I think we should live life in reverse sometimes... starting with being old and experience and then become young and wild and irresponsible...

  5. I love that song as well! I've been thinking the same thought lately, about what I wish I could tell my younger self is really important. It makes me think about what the future me will wish she could tell the present me...
