Recently, a new grocer opened near us. They sell fresh squeezed orange juice (they juice it onsite) for very reasonable prices. Now I am spoiled. Here I am, buried in snow and drinking all that gorgeous sunshine in a glass.
It seems you've moved into the perfect neighborhood, Michele. I don't know if I've tasted honey bells. I am always open to tasting new-to-me fruit! I'll try and find some. Thanks for the introduction.
Observer. Also, author of the novel “After the Sour Lemon Moon.” I recorded a free audio version at the beginning of the pandemic. You can find it in my Instagram bio, in highlights.
I actually have two oranges that are past eating, but not past squeezing. Yummy!
ReplyDeletePerfect!
Deleteyes: vitamin punch! I like tangerine
ReplyDeleteTangerine. Yes. Me too. I like tangerine, and just about every other ripe citrus.

ReplyDeleteFresh squeezed without squeezing. Lucky you. Enjoy!
DeleteYes. Love Cara-Cara oranges! and we've eaten so many little crates of clementines this winter we've lost count.
ReplyDeleteI've also eaten some excellent blood oranges and mandarins. It seems we are both enjoying our winter citrus. Carry on.
DeleteI love Cara Caras. I eat oranges/clementines/tangerines every day. Haven't squeezed any this year--good idea. Beautiful picture.
ReplyDeleteWell done, Jen. Enjoy the bounty.
DeleteI can't eat or drink citrus (boring bladder disease issues) but oh, that looks so inviting. Although I miss pink grapefruit juice even more....
ReplyDeleteOh, no. Sorry to bring up a bad subject, Kate. I can understand your missing pink grapefruit juice. I'd miss ruby red.
DeleteYum. Fresh citrus juice - so healthy and friendly!
ReplyDeleteIndeed.
DeleteJust finished a cache of sweet honey bells shared by a thoughtful neighbor.
