7:08 AM
Drinking a tall glass of water while looking out at this day.  Grape-Nuts are next.  Then writing.

How about you?

  1. Looking in relief at sunshine. Then the whirlwind of getting ready for school and work. But first, a dog walk.

    1. Sunshine, yes! It's always nice to begin with a little calm, even if you know a whirlwind will follow. Enjoy your walk.

It must be my day off!

  3. At 7.08am I was pretending not to be awake. But I would have wanted to get up and look out at that mist. A day of some practicals and some writing.

  4. taking a deep exhale, in thanks for a long road 2-week trip with my family. It has been such an adventure and a great bonding time. Good to come back here, to your place, for a moment of quiet.

  5. We took a ferry to Brooklyn to see our old friend/ pizza guy, Sal- surprised him! Roman fell asleep on the way home so now I get to chill a little! Or I might go organize his closet...

  7. Hot! Humid. With parching winds. Hustling the husband off to Indonesia then onward to help a gaggle of grandkids with swim lessons. I'm wilted, sticky, and quenching my thirst with the view from your window.

    1. Oh, Teresa, you've reminded me of sushi. Now I'm missing sushi. I won't be seeing any for a while... Hope it was delicious.

    1. Hello, Janis. I like when they start out that way, even when they don't end exactly as planned.

  10. Once a night owl, I am now becoming a morning person. I wake at 6am when it is quiet and the day ahead long and full of promise. For me, it feels all mine and this feeling of ownership in best sense is a giddy one. I like your 8 minutes past 7 view.

    Enjoy!
