  1. Hi sweetie,
I went back and read your post. Oh yes, I love list. I adore them, and I happen to love yours.
Do you know, I have never done the 39 before 40. I mean the 29 before 30. lol yeah right. I really should write one.

  3. I love the photo, Denise - just beautiful. And yes, I'd say it was a pretty good year - you've either accomplished, or (in the case of publishing) changed directions. What kind of book is Worms for Girls? (And, for whatever it's worth, I think you should submit a poem...)

I write lists all the time, but I'm more like your dad- they end ups scattered all about... I should get in the habit of keeping a notebook.

  4. Christina,

    Thank you for your note.

I found that planning too far ahead didn't work so well for me. I think I'm best with monthly goals.

I'm sure you'll find what works best for you--29 before 30 if it makes you happy : )

    Alexandria,

Thank you -- that's exactly what it felt like that day, delicate and cool. It was a beautiful morning.

    Maria,

    Thank you.

Worms for Girls is a really fun book about Worm Composting. How a city gal (me) learned to love her composting worms. It's something I had a blast doing in Point Reyes. I'm just not sure where the book fits into my life right now. I just might let it rest, for now...maybe forever...perhaps just keep it for myself.

Thank you for your poem support.

I once had a boss that suggested I continue with all of my note and list writing, just keep them in one place. Somehow, I was able to implement this suggestion and it's been quite helpful. I do struggle a bit when something I recall is in an old notebook. Now I need a notebook organizing strategy. Perhaps I should add that to my to-do list (smile).
