When I'm Alone, 2014

 What are you doing?

I was taking a picture of a tangerine.

 What will you do with a picture of a tangerine?

I'm not sure, maybe post it on my blog, or look back at it later to remember the light.

    I like looking back at pictures of small moments... so I collect a lot! Have you tried instagram? It helps me not only colleft these moments but also find other people that think like this

      I did make this piece, Alexandria. I'd really like to get back to pottery making one day. It was such gratifying work. Nice to "see" you.

    My favorites are your "use this to prop up the window" calculus book (2/21/13) and "Satsuma" (12/12/12). This handmade bowl glazed with light is also lovely. At the grocers I can never pass a bin of tangerines and leaves without stopping to stare. My old phone doesn't take good photos so I just have to memorize them. Though I have trouble remembering the light--it always seems to fade with use.

      And that calculus book was in a library. Loved that. You know, sometimes the memory is better than the photograph.

    I am taking a picture of a Blood Orange...I may use it for my blog, or just eat it. I have not decided, but it is beautiful in all ways as is your tangerine.
