I like looking back at pictures of small moments... so I collect a lot! Have you tried instagram? It helps me not only colleft these moments but also find other people that think like this
My favorites are your "use this to prop up the window" calculus book (2/21/13) and "Satsuma" (12/12/12). This handmade bowl glazed with light is also lovely. At the grocers I can never pass a bin of tangerines and leaves without stopping to stare. My old phone doesn't take good photos so I just have to memorize them. Though I have trouble remembering the light--it always seems to fade with use.
I am taking a picture of a Blood Orange...I may use it for my blog, or just eat it. I have not decided, but it is beautiful in all ways as is your tangerine.
Observer. Also, author of the novel “After the Sour Lemon Moon.” I recorded a free audio version at the beginning of the pandemic. You can find it in my Instagram bio, in highlights.

ReplyDeleteI did make this piece, Alexandria. I'd really like to get back to pottery making one day. It was such gratifying work. Nice to "see" you.
DeleteBeautiful. Orange and dish.
ReplyDeleteThanks, Jen.
DeleteI think it's the photographs that you don't post that you regret...
ReplyDeleteOh, I'm not so sure about that. I wouldn't want to overwhelm you all with my every snap.
DeleteI like your orange and also the way you're presenting it :)

ReplyDeleteAnd that calculus book was in a library. Loved that. You know, sometimes the memory is better than the photograph.
