    Happy New Year, Denise. Please forgive me for not visiting regularly in 2013. I won't make excuses. I simply did not make enough time for reading (anyone, anything, anywhere). Ditto for writing.

    I'm here this evening after an afternoon walk around False Creek and a seeking the perfect New Year's Day poem on various web sites. Not finding it, I decided to return to my favourite blogs, knowing I'd find beauty and inspiration in words and images. You (and Lucy of Nourish Me) never disappoint.

    Yes, to cookies and music and time with loved ones. I enjoyed all of those today, too.
