  5. So refreshing after all this commercial cheesiness. It's true we should all be a little kinder to ourselves.

  9. As soon as I get out of this shop I'm going to love myself into a hot bath with a steaming cup of tea.

Then tomorrow I'll take myself on a date to get a pedicure and massage.

I KNOW I'll be more lovable.

  10. Thank you for the reminder, Denise. Have you read Sarah Ban Breathnach's book Simple Abundance? "Love thyself" is the mantra of her book. I'm sure you'd love it, too.

  11. Agreed. And we have those juice glasses too. Your breakfast looks peaceful and carefully prepared. I need to sit down and eat breakfast more often.

  12. Thanks, everyone. I hope you all treated yourselves well yesterday and continue today. I could have done better, but I'm looking forward.

    Yes, Shae. Exactly.

Janis, Have you dipped into the Cara Cara oranges yet? I had some last night that were exceptional. I'm returning to the source today.

Jane, You've got the idea, exactly.

the Lady, Yes, I have read it, but it has been a long while. Someone was kind enough to give me a copy, years ago.

mosey, Those tasteful juice glasses belong to my apartment in Paris, and when I say "my apartment" I mean mine for a mere week. I think I treated myself better in Paris. No, I know I did. I want to change that, starting today. I want life to feel more peaceful and carefully prepared here at home. I'm beginning with an early walk -- right now.

Julia, Really? Why? There's so much to love.

  21. you can't love others if you don't love yourself first. Some people dive into relationships to fill a gap they have with themselves and its a big mistake.
